How long does Botox for hyperhidrosis last?
Results typically last between 6 and 12 months, depending on your body’s response and the area treated. Many clients enjoy long-lasting relief with just one treatment per year.
Can I use my own Botox prescription?
Yes! Chelsea offers a BYOB option (bring your own Botox) with a flat injection fee.
If you don’t have a prescription, one can be provided from the clinic’s medical director after completing the consultation and intake forms. Once complete, Chelsea can supply the therapeutic Botox and tailor the dose to your needs.
Is Botox for hyperhidrosis covered by insurance?
Some benefit plans may cover therapeutic Botox for hyperhidrosis with a prescription. It’s best to check with your provider before booking. Chelsea can guide you on how to speak with your doctor or insurer about it.
Is the treatment painful or invasive?
The procedure involves a series of tiny injections… just under the first layers of skin. Chelsea can provide comfort measures, if needed.
